My Work of Lyrical Artistry

Growing up being surrounded by all types of music I was most influenced by Hip Hop. I was attracted to the songs of Hip Hop rappers like Mobb Deep, Big Pun, Terror Squad, Nas, Jadakiss, Nore, AZ, Wu Tang, Lloyd Banks and some underground rappers. I began developing a skill of rhyming, writing lyrics and making beats relating to my favorite styles of rappers. I also had a turn around in my life when I came to acknowledge the Gospel of Christ and His heart towards me. With that experience, it also introduced me to Gospel/Christian Hip hop which truly changed my heart of writing.

Til this day I have been influenced and inspired through the gospel of Christ to create and execute Hip hop songs that provide principles of life, counsel, solutions and wisdom to everyone facing struggles in their lives. I realize how influential Hip hop is and can be a value, an avenue to help bring hope to the hearts of those searching for answers. I believe that Hip hop provides a "voice" and a platform to bring light and leadership to the world. Yet I realized how much violence and lust fills the atmosphere of music nowadays and I believe using music can be much more effective if it is used properly and responsibly. I pray and hope my music touches, encourages, inspires and empowers the hearts of everyone who listens.

My purpose is to create music that relates to people, touches the hearts of people, and empowers people during times of weak moments and seasons in their lives.
