MP3 Lease - $30
A Basic Lease is non-exclusive and costs $30 per beat. This license means that the buyer (licensee) is leasing the beat from Geo the Architect.
A Basic Lease does not grant the buyer ownership rights to the beat. Leased beats can continue to be sold to other artists by Geo the Architect unless Exclusive rights are purchased.
Purchasing a Basic Lease entitles you to the following rights:
1. You as the Licensee will have the worldwide, non-exclusive right to sell up to 2,000 units (iTunes, etc), internet downloads, Use for TV/movie, or radio 5 different times, and earn up to $3,000 performing publicly the song they create with Geo the Architect. Licensee may also use the song they create with Geo the Architect in any non-profit projects. Beats by Geo the Architect must be combined with other audio (with lyrics) and not be just the beat/instrumental alone.
2. Licensee may also synchronize Beats by Geo the Architect with an unlimited number of YouTube videos.
3. Licensee agrees to pay Geo the Architect the one time purchasing fee. No royalties will ever be asked of you.
4. In all Projects in which beats by Geo the Architect is used, Licensee shall give credit to the producer in one or more of the following formats: "Produced by [Producer's Name]" "Beat by [Producer's Name]""Original Music by [Producer's Name]"
5.This License is granted for the length of the copyright term registered by Geo the Architect.
Ownership
"Geo the Architect" maintains 100% full rights (copyright and ownership) of the instrumental, and can continue to sell it non-exclusively and/or exclusively.
The Licensee has neither the right nor authority to sell or license the rights to the Instrumental whether in whole or part to any other party. In the event another individual purchases exclusive rights to your licensed Instrumental you will retain your non-exclusive rights under the limitations listed in this agreement and until these terms have been fulfilled.
Credit
The Licensee must give production credit to the Licensor (Geo the Architect) for any and all distributed material.
This can be done verbally (through recorded vocals on the Master Recording) or written in or on the CD booklet or outside cover.
The Licensor reserves the right to keep an audio signature at the beginning of all non- exclusive instrumentals.
By receiving this contract via email, you automatically agree to the terms stated above and gain non-exclusive rights to the Instrumental.
Term
All rights in this agreement last for one (1) year after purchase date of this license.
If the Licensee wishes to use the Instrumental after the expiry date, then the Licensee must obtain another license from the Licensor.
